ERNEST EUGENE (GENE) PIERCE, age 92 of Kingston passed away Saturday October 16, 2010 at The Bridge Healthcare in Rockwood.
Gene was a longtime member of our church
He retired from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory
and was a Manhattan Project Contributor.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife
Dorothy (Dot) Pierce. Survivors include: daughter Jan Pierce; sons and daughter in law Don and Kathy Pierce, Larry Pierce; grandsons Jay and Clay Pierce.
Memorial contributions maybe made to Bethel Presbyterian
Church or the charity of your choice.
The body has been cremated, and a
memorial service is planned for Spring, 2011. Our
deepest Christian sympathy are extended to the Pierce family in this time of
sorrow.
