In 1968, she resumed her professional career in nursing at Harriman Hospital in various administrative assignments until her retirement in 1985. She served on the boards of directors of the Oak Ridge Mental Health and the Family Medical Associates of Kingston. She was a member and elder of Bethel Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a sister, Betty Shirk; and brother, Robert Davis.
Survivors include her husband, George, of 67 years; and children, George C. Warlick III (Cynthia), Knoxville, Daniel D. Warlick (Gail), Nashville, and Jennifer L. Warlick (David M. Betson), South Bend, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Melissa L. Warlick, Knoxville, Erik D. Warlick, Boca Raton, Fla., Katie G. Dorfler and Samuel A. Warlick, Nashville, Nicholas W. Betson, New Haven, Conn., Elizabeth W. Betson and Andrew W. Betson, South Bend. One great-grandson is Carson Warlick, Boca Raton.
Memorial services were held in Bethel Presbyterian Church, Kingston, at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 2. Remains were interred in Bethel Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Bethel Presbyterian Building Memorial Fund, 203 S. Kentucky St., Kingston, TN 37763.
