Virginia Helen "Ginny" Davis Warlick of Kingston died Friday, May 17, 2013, in NHC Healthcare of Oak Ridge.
She was born March 2, 1923, in Clarksburg, W.Va., to Virginia Helen Nedrow and Ross McKenzie Davis. She attended public schools in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. She studied at West Virginia University and received the Registered Nurse degree from the School of Nursing of Duke University in 1945. On marrying George C. Warlick Jr. in 1945, she came to Oak Ridge, where she had her three children before moving to Kingston in 1952. Until 1968, she was a homemaker, neighborhood nurse and homeroom mother in Kingston public schools.
