One Great Hour of Sharing Take a moment to read the One Great Hour of Sharing bulletin insert this morning. One Great Hour of Sharing provides funding to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Presbyterian Hunger Fund and Self-Development of People. Prayerfully consider how your portion of the offering can be used to make a difference in the world. Please give generously to the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering this morning. One Great Hour of Sharing Boxes During the Doxology we are inviting the children of the church to bring their One Great Hour of Sharing Boxes forward. Fun Luncheon Plan to come to the next Fun Luncheon on April 10th at noon. This month’s potluck luncheon will be hosted by Willie Mae Meers and Dolores Sandmel. Come for the door prizes, stay for the great food and fellowship! All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Church Hike It’s time for Bethel’s hiking crew to return to the Smokies on the afternoon of Sunday, April 15. Everyone is welcome. We plan to do a 5.1 mile loop trail in the Elkmont area. This is not a strenuous hike; the elevation change is zero. We will be leaving right after worship so don’t forget to bring a sack lunch and your shoes to church. We will drive part of the way and pull off at Ft. Loudon Dam to eat our lunches before driving the rest of the way to the trailhead. Bring plenty of drinks and snacks for the hike, and plan to be home for supper. Sales Tax Holiday If you are planning a big purchase in the near future you’ll want to wait for the Sales Tax Holiday. For 2007 only, there is an special one-time sales tax holiday, from April 27 through 29, 2007. Homebound
