Bethel's celebration of Christmas includes the joy of providing Christmas baskets for low-income familles identified by our Service Team. A special December offering provides funds for the food. For families with children, Bethel members and friends choose a child's name and shop for his/her toy/clothes, then wrap the gifts, add a name tag, and drop the gifts at the church.

Near the middle of December volunteers gather on a Friday evening to assemble the baskets and gifts. Then, on Saturday, the families and children come to Bethel to pick up their baskets, and volunteers help them load the treats into their cars. It's a joy to see the excitement of the children, especially, and a blessing to all who participate in both giving and receiving the baskets.

Those who wish to contribute or refer a family for the Christmas Baskets are invited to call the church office in October.
